The Irishman

I appreciate the obvious skill of this film, but I don’t understand the fixation and infatuation with bad men doing bad things.

The whole mob genre just isn’t something I like to watch. What’s the point of glorifying these stories?

Obviously Martin Scorsese is an exceptional director. Obviously the cast is top notch (this is one of the few times I’ve seen Joe Pesci really act rather than be a version of Joe Pesci), but these movies just aren’t my bag.
