The Clone Wars, season 7

I’m glad Dave Filoni and Co. got the opportunity to finish “The Clone Wars” the way they wanted to.

The series presents such a sad story—exciting, but also truly tragic.

Where the prequels lacked depth and context (and adequate dialogue), “The Clone Wars” added tremendous color and thought.

This seventh season includes Order 66, which is heartbreaking. And while the season wandered a bit in the middle, the final four episodes were on par with the best “Star Wars” stories.

All of this makes me hope that “Rebels” gets another season or two.
