Sicario: Day of the Soldado

I don’t recall the specifics of the first “Sicario” all that well, but I remember the feeling.

It was a tense and fulfilling film.

This follow-up is also tense, but it’s not as fulfilling. Perhaps the mess of the story is meant to reflect the mess of U.S. foreign policy, particularly when that policy involves a bunch of shooting and destruction on sovereign land.
