Ahsoka

This “Star Wars” book follows Ahsoka about a year after Order 66.

If you haven’t watched “The Clone Wars” and “Rebels” I’m not sure how much you’d get out of the story, since there are lots of references that tie to both shows. Much of the book focuses on how and where Ahsoka meets Bail Organa, how she builds her white lightsabers (by healing two Sithy crystals used by the Sixth Brother), when and where she joins the Rebellion, and why she becomes the Rebellion spy named Fulcrum.

The book is technically written for teen audiences, and it shows. But Ahsoka is one of best characters in “Star Wars”’ and it’s fun to get more of her story even if the execution is a little off.

I have to imagine there are more Ahsoka stories to come. I could see her appearing on “The Mandalorian” at some point (Rosario Dawson is definitely (?) or probably (?) set to play her). A new season of “Rebels” with Ahsoka and Sabine searching for Ezra would be a natural and welcome addition.
